The University of Wisconsin-Madison Division of Extension educators are the representatives of the United States Department of Agriculture, and the University of Wisconsin. They design educational programs which apply research, knowledge, and resources to meet the issues and needs of Lafayette County residents. This teaching is done through all media including radio, newspaper, meetings, visits, phone and personal counseling. It covers agriculture, community development, human development and relationships, positive and 4-H youth development, and nutrition education.
