Lafayette County 4-H Summer Intern
This position is designed to support and expand 4-H youth development opportunities, knowledge of programs, office operations, and community partnerships under the direct
supervision of the 4-H Youth Development Educator and County Extension Secretary.
Employment: Approximately 10 weeks (late May through August)
Application Process & Deadline: Applications will be due by Monday, May 15th at 5:00 p.m. Full consideration will be given to applicants who submit: (1) Cover letter, (2) Professional Resume, and (3) References.
Salary: $3,500 Scholarship to be paid as follows; $1,500 will be paid at beginning of summer for living expenses, $2,000 will be paid at completion of summer internship.

WISCONSIN TOWNS ASSOCIATION SCHOLARSHIP
The Wisconsin Towns Association, Rural Mutual Insurance Company, and Scott Construction, Inc. will be awarding $7,000 in scholarships to high school Seniors graduating in 2023 from either a public or private high school in Wisconsin that plan to enroll in a Wisconsin public or private college or a university in 2023. The winners are determined by independent judging of an essay contest. The essay should address the topic: “If Wisconsin could design it’s local government funding system from scratch, what would be th ebest and most equitable way to fund town government services?”
Essays must be postmarked by May 26, 2023.

CENTRALSTAR SCHOLARSHIP
The cooperative serves dairy and beef producers throughout Wisconsin, Michigan, and Indiana, with DHI-specific customers in surrounding states. The applicant must be presently enrolled in a four-year college or a one- or two-year technical college or short-course program in an agricultural-related field OR be a high school senior admitted into one of the aforementioned programs. Also, the applicant or their parent(s) must be a stockowner of CentralStar Cooperative.
Application is due by June 1, 2023. Seven (7) winners will be awarded a $1,000 scholarship. Two of the scholarships are designated for technical-school or short-course students, if two applicants fall in this category and meet the stockowner requirement. Winners will receive notification of their award via e-mail in July or August. Checks are made payable to the university or technical school. If you’re a winner, expect the money to pay for your fall semester.

WISCONSIN RURAL OPPORTUNITIES FOUNDATION (WROF) PREMIER SCHOLARSHIP
The Wisconsin Rural Opportunities Foundation, Inc. (WROF) is delighted to announce the 2023-2024 WROF Premier Scholarship Awards Program! The Premier Scholarship is an award of $5,000 that will be presented to a rural Wisconsin high school senior pursuing post-secondary education with plans to return to rural Wisconsin upon graduation. New this year, the Premier Scholarship Awards Program has expanded to include awarding the top five runners-up. Out of this group of finalists, the top two students will be awarded $2,500 each followed by the next top three students being awarded $1,000 each.
Application will be available through Wednesday, March 1, 2023. This must be completed at one time – changes will be saved on the back end of the website but you will not have the chance to return to the application with edits.

Wisconsin 4-H Foundation Scholarships
Wisconsin 4-H Foundation scholarships are awarded to students based on demonstrated personal growth through 4-H, development and leadership in 4-H, academic performance and future educational goals.
*To be eligible for Wisconsin 4-H Foundation scholarships:
*Students must have been a Wisconsin 4-H member for at least three years
*GPA of at least 2.5 on a 4.0 scale
*Enrolled or planning to enroll at a university, college or technical school during 2023-2024

SULLIVAN SUPPLY SCHOLARSHIP
Each year, Sullivan Supply offers 20 scholarships of $1,000 each to youth displaying a great passion for the livestock show industry and/or livestock production. Candidate must be a graduating high school senior or college student 21 years of age or younger; resident of the U.S. or Canada, and not a previous Sullivan scholarship winner. An agriculture major or a career goal in livestock is not a requirement, but a continued future involvement in the livestock industry is.

SOUTHWEST WI PORK PRODUCERS SCHOLARSHIP
The Southwest Wisconsin Pork Producers is committed to developing the next generation of pork producers and leaders. Furthermore, they understand the significant role that a high-quality agricultural education plays in the future of our industry. Therefore, in 2021 this scholarship was established. It is open to high school or college students from Grant, Iowa, or Lafayette Counties in Wisconsin.

Open to anyone actively pursuing higher education. The scholarship will be awarded based on academic achievement, financial impact, and an essay on the following: The electric car market in the United States is booming, particularly on the coasts. How do you see the electric car market progressing in the next decade and what impact does taht have on the ethanol market and rural communities like ours?
Adkins Energy LLC will award three $1000 scholarships to the qualifying students. Applications must be postmarked by Monday, April 3, 2023.

Open to graduating high school seniors and college freshmen that are current Lafayette County 4-H members with at least four years or more of membership. Preference will be given to members who have not yet received this scholarship.

Lafayette County 4-H Leaders Association will award scholarships of not less than $100.
