Test score required to pass: 50% Several Zoom webinar trainings will be hosted by counties during the training season (Jan. – April). These are attended in-person, at the county office, and include training and testing in a single day. You do not have to live in that county to attend the training they host. Registration online through the PAT Store is required to attend and costs $10. You must register BEFORE the date of the training. You will take your test the same day the training is completed. There will not be a need to schedule a private appointment with a County Extension Office to take your test. The Lafayette County Extension Office will host an in-person webinar training in 2026. See below for in-person training dates in other counties! Lafayette County will host an in-person webinar training session on February 26, 2026 in Darlington. Grant County will host an in-person webinar training session on January 22, 2026 in Lancaster. Learn more & register here. |
Test score required to pass: 50% You can take this online, self-paced training via Canvas instead of the in-person training. Registration online through the PAT Store is required and costs $10. The training takes approximately 3.5 hours to complete. Stopping/starting throughout the training is allowed. Upon completion of this training, you will receive a Course Completion Certificate. You MUST show this certificate to your exam proctor when you take your private applicator test. The receipt indicates you have completed the training and allows your test to be coded for the 50% pass score. You will need to take your test at a County Extension Office. To schedule a private appointment to take your test at the Lafayette County Extension Office, please call 608-776-4820. Walk-ins are not permitted. |
